How many times you have posted something on your Facebook and expected to reach a maximum number of people and a lot of ‘Likes’. And that something can be some message or even can be your own picture? How many times have you uploaded a video to your Youtube account and waited for more viewers with ‘Likes’ and subscriptions? How many times have you forwarded a message on some social media platforms like Whatsapp with the expectation of creating a viral response?
These all and many other activities in the internet and social media do actually fall under the domain of digital marketing but many of us are not technically aware of that fact.
This way almost all of us use digital marketing for our purposes but usually without knowing it. Not every use and purpose are for the best of the purpose and results, still we cannot deny the presence of digital marketing essence and techniques.
Digital marketing constitutes a defined set of activities and expectations on the results of those activities. On the basis of those results there can again be certain activities that will further propel the mechanisms of reaching more people and generate more engagements.
